Fuck It All To Hell!
So I blogged about posting more Black potential Presidents but with the lack of comments, obviously no one cares very much so I'm scrapping it.
Ya know, it can be pretty lonely blogging sometimes when you don't hear from people who come visit your site every single day. I know that most blog readers don't comment and even after keeping blogs for 3 years I can't seem to shake the disdain I have for lurkers. I take a glance at my stats to see where my readers are coming from, where they are geographically, etc. and I see loads of people coming here (and often the same IP's addresses daily) and reading my site for HOURS and HOURS without so much as one tiny peep to let me know, "hey I've been entertaining myself here at work with your blog for 5 hours now", or some other kind of basic sentence...I mean are keystrokes that painstaking?
Obviously so...
I guess I could always go back to having a fully private, "login only" blog though...that worked out kinda well actually. Hmmm...
Anyway I am pissy and stressed the fuck out waiting on word about a very special job that, if offered to me, is going to equal a $16,520 SALARY INCREASE (including bonuses). The magnitude of that has made me irritable and on edge...fucking employer waiting games! I've been interviewed, they call me every day seemingly just to hear my voice, my background check is in progress...I don't know what's gonna fucking happen. All of my friends think I'm "in there" but I am just not ready to count the chickens before they've hatched. I can't put my mind at ease until that offer has hit my BlackBerry inbox. My anxiety is sky motherfucking high right now and I can barely handle life! You should have seen me tell this guy off at work today. I am seriously illin.
I wanna stay in bed and just sleep until I get a concrete answer from them next week.
I wish I had that luxury...
Meanwhile, I have to put something to rest that has been very special to me for the past 8 years.
My Hitachi Magic Wand vibrator has seen it's last days between my legs. It's dying and is a shell of it's former self.
You see, last year I wrote about this on my previous blog (now defunct) because I truly thought my vibrator had died. In actuality though, it was the old power strip I used to have next to my bed that needed replaced, not the Hitachi!
But for the past few weeks I've come to the realization that yes, Hitachi's time has come to an end as well.
My once strong vibe now sputters and chokes when turned on. It fades out after about 5 minutes of continuous use...I have so much grief over this. I mean, this was my FIRST vibrator purchased shortly after my 20th birthday. It has seen me through some very difficult times and even made a cross country move with me!
I guess R and I will go to Fascinations this weekend to replace it but it won't be easy.
BTW...R is my new sex partner.
This really sucks man. My very first vibrator...going to that big sex toy chest in the sky after 8 wonderful years...
Hitachi...you will be sorely missed...thanks for the memories.

Wow! A new gig with a substantial increase in pay in this economy?.... That is fantastic..... You will get the job. As black Mamba said, stay positive..... Having said that, I can definitely relate to the anxiety of the waiting game.

I have a Hitachi too. I found that it is just too strong for me. I would donate mine but that's just nasty, lol.
I did find you theme posts interesting. I just didn't know much about the other person, so I was just waiting for you to post about someone that did know a little about. I'm sorry that you have chosen to scrap it all together.

My Magic Wand sounds like the bearings are about to go. It has been that way for years tho, ever since I used it on my SORE MUSCLES. I should have just kept it as a dedicated sex toy! O well, "stuff" can be replaced. You need the G-spotter attachment! (My friend got an "Eroscilator" as a gift, but it's like 3 times more expensive than a MW.)

Chloe- Thanks for that...I have a suggestion to about the Hitachi too, try putting a towel or some other type of soft fabric over when you're using it so that you don't have too much direct contact with it. I had to do that at first just to get used to how strong the vibrations were.
That seems SO LONG AGO! HA...I use that baby on both speeds now and the high speed is KILLER.

Someone else recommended that "Eroscillator" to me but when I saw the price I said noooooo way! Hitachi is $50 and has been VERY GOOD TO ME and it's cheap. I have definitely gotten my money's worth outta that sucker.
But the great word of mouth on The Eroscillator intrigues me so maybe if I get my high paying new job I'll spurge on one!

It goes without saying that you have my sympathy about the death of your beloved Hitachi Magic Wand. Between that and you being on edge about this job, it's no wonder you're stressed out.

Breathe lady, breathe when something is for you then it's for you. A lot of places are experiencing hiring freezes but they will never communicate that to you, but the mere fact that they are calling daily says to me that they are making sure that they don't loose you while they deal with their red tape.
We thought that the Hitachi died about a year ago, so you got an extra year out of him. Focus on the good times, and know that you will have just as much fun with the new one.

Like some of the other posters here, I often read your blog and don't contribute as I don't think I have much to offer that other people would be interested in reading. My husband and I just moved--I'm immersed in cardboard boxes, painting projects, yard work, taking care of our poor creaky old lovable cat...BORing for anyone else. And hey--you lead an exciting life!

I'm not trying to mandate every reader to comment on every single post but for them to introduce themselves or comment once in a while is really every blogger's wish, trust me! No blogger I know wants to type to an empty, mute audience. Especially ones who give a lot of information writing about their personal life.

I too recently had to retire my very first vibe, a simple three speed Wicked G Spot that did me right, let me tell ya. I replaced that one no question. Even if they hiked up the price on it!
I love my hitachi, there is nothing better than a quick fix when I got to be somewhere.
